The black of the rocks bathed by the sea, the grey of the stones, the nude color of the sunrise of the orange of the sunset of Positano..
These are the colours that strike you when you arrive at the wonderful Casa Privata in Positano.
The location is an ancient fisherman’s cottage dating back to the 18th century: a private house unique with the charming character of genuine period furniture, and old frescoed walls, combined naturally with the true cuisine, the fragrances and tastes of the Amalfi coast.
So accordingly, these are the colours that has being chosen and used in delicate nuances, to make this particular elopement unique, yet modern. Suitable for a young New York couple who choose to elopement in a luxurious and modern way, while remaining rooted in a unspoilt, intact and unique landscape such as the Amalfi coast.
The wedding stationary is designed chic yet modern in greys and nude tone, and with accents of black. The calligraphic choice is a modern font.
The bouquet and flowers used for the ceremony arch adopt a modern and airy composition, with a thick green base of eucalyptus Parvifolia dotted with Icoon tulips, the original Orange Leucospermum Nutans, from carnations in “Orange Aperol ” shades and the more delicate mottled pink.
The table design was selected in colours reminiscent of the sunset of Positano; from nude tones, pinks, oranges and gold, and using clear glass, gold rimmed plates, black napkins, the black menu and a delicious grey placeholder, with tassels black and a black wax seal.
Everything made to emphasise the colours of the wild rocks and the sea that laps against them, where we chose to place a romantic sunset dinner, with a view, of course, of Amalfi…
Just before the dinner, an aperitif in a Gozzo – a traditional boat from the Amalfi coast area – to enjoy a unique view of the world: the colourful houses of Positano and Amalfi that descend all along the coast, brilliant under the rays of the evening sun.
