Surrounded by the dazzling landscape of the Victoria Harbour in Honk Kong , aboard one of the most iconic and original antique Chinese junk boat still cruising off the coast of Hong Kong : the Aqualuna, Angela and Mark pre-wedding photoshoot started in a stunning way .
Mark Cheng (鄭豪) is the fourth generation member of two prominent Chinese families – the Li family, which founded and runs the Bank ofEast Asia, Hong Kong’s largest independent locally founded bank, and the Cheng family, which is highly prominent in international law and diplomacy.
Mark has continued the family tradition of finance and public service as a prominent investor in the social enterprise sector.
Angela Wong Cheng (known as Angela Wong) is the second daughter of self-made entrepreneur WL Wong, who’s most known for his career in the chemical engineering industry in the 90s. She earned a B.A. in Politics from New York University , and then she completed her M.S. in Non profit management from Columbia University . She is most known as an investor relations professional, venture capitalist and start up founder .
They met in a convention , where Mark was immediately struck by her personality and beauty . He invited her , for a business lunch the day after , and during that he took the opportunity to ask her out for date .
And the date went so well that , Angela and Mark are now happily married .
The pre-wedding photoshoot was marked by the red colour , that in the Chinese tradition represents fortune , joy , happiness and prosperity . Red was fully present in the Aqualuna ’s sails and Angela’s gorgeous red dress, and the Chinese tea ceremony .
The couple tied the Knot , on march 30th in the sophisticated Hong Kong Country club.

The celebration carried out on a mirror Lined – aisle that led to a triple white floral arch , a sculptural frame on the Country Club loan , where guests were welcomed with Champagne and Caviar.
The wedding design, brought to life by Nicole Froelich from Nicole Please Weddings, was an homage to two icons of timeless glamour, Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly, with a contemporary lens. The entire aesthetic was anchored in a refined palette of pearl, blush, silver, and linen white, interwoven with couture-level details that whispered luxury
Highlight of the evening, : Angela , welcomed in the historical location of the Carlyle Hotel, all the guests singing an Alicia Keys ‘ s song , and the party continued with dances , joy , laughs .
Every detail told a story of two people that honor the past , shape the future and walk through life together with purpose and grace.
